DENTAL HYGIENIST & OFFICE MANAGER

I’m Sarah, and I am the “Rock Star” Dental Hygienist and Office Manager for Modern Dentistry of New England. I started as a dental assistant, then moved to reception, claims investigator, and now I am both the hygienist and office manager. Collectively I have over 20 years of dental experience and my background has shaped me to be a very well-rounded team player. I greatly value patient education and believe that by addressing each patient’s concerns and making a plan, we can achieve the best outcome for their oral health. I am very passionate about my career and always strive for self-improvement in myself so I can better serve our patients.

When I am not working in the dental office I am always on the go with my husband and 3 beautiful kids. We enjoy outdoor activities, working in the gardens or tending the chickens, canning, and when I can, I enjoy a good book!

CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Hi! I’m Pam! I am Dr. Gabr ’s senior assistant and the Clinical Director at Modern Dentistry of New England. I have worked closely with Dr. Gabr for 10 years now, and bring over 30 years of experience myself to our practice.

I love working with all of our patients and try my best to make them feel as comfortable as possible while they’re here. Whether we are doing simple dental fillings, or more complex and intricate surgical procedures, I always take the time to explain each procedure as treatment progresses so that our patients have a full understanding of their dental care. The best part of my job is helping patients obtain perfect smiles and healthy teeth. I cannot imagine a better place to work.

When I’m not at the office I am in the garden, reading, crafting, having fun with family, I’m learning new things!

APPOINTMENT COORDINATOR

Well hello there! My name is Deb! I am Dr. Gabr ’s appointment coordinator and administrative assistant at Modern Dentistry of New England. I’ve been with Dr. Gabr since 2014 and truly enjoy what I do. I find taking care of our patients so rewarding. It’s my responsibility to greet patients when they enter and leave the office to schedule appointments and keep the day running smooth. I enjoy meeting new people and creating new relationships. Please stop at the front desk and say hello! I will always greet you with a warm welcome and a big smile!

Outside of the office I enjoy participating in charitable activities, crewing for a hot air balloon pilot, singing and spending time with my family and friends.

Hi! I’m Abby. I’m one of the dental hygienists at Modern Dentistry of New England. I’ve been a hygienist for 4 years now and truly love what I do! I love meeting new people and building relationships with all of my patients! It’s very important to me to educate patients and work with them to achieve optimal oral health. I want every patient to feel comfortable during their visit and to leave with a smile on their face! I feel so lucky to be working at an awesome practice with such an amazing team!

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, family and friends. I love cooking, spending time outdoors and working in the garden or with my house plants! I look forward to working with you!

Hello there! My name is Courtney and I'm one of Dr. Gabr’s assistants. I have been a dental assistant for over eight years with comprehensive knowledge gained from years of experience. I strive for patient education and making patients comfortable at every visit. You are not just a patient but family when you come in!

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and all of our doggies. Our family enjoys being outside in the sun whether it is swimming, boating, or just relaxing on the patio with a good book.

Hi, my name is Katie and I am the Treatment Coordinator for the practice! I started in Dentistry over 20 years ago, and started as a dental assistant. I love dentistry and helping patients getting the care they need and the smile they dreamed of! I was born and raised in West Hartford and now reside in Bristol with my 3 beautiful daughters, in our spare time we love going to museums, day trips, foraging mushrooms and taking care of our dog, 2 cats and bearded dragon!
